Frequently Asked Questions
How much data can I hide in an image?
The capacity depends on the image resolution. Generally, you can hide about 1 bit of data per color channel (R, G, B) of each pixel. A 1920x1080 image can hide approximately 700KB of data.
Can I hide data in a JPG image?
Yes, but JPG is a lossy format. If you re-compress the locked JPG, the hidden data might be corrupted. We recommend using PNG for 100% reliable data hiding.
What happens if I forget my password?
Since we use strong AES-256 encryption and never store your passwords, there is no way to recover your hidden data if the password is lost.
