Does it support transparency?
Yes, our tool fully respects alpha channels. Transparent pixels are ignored during analysis, ensuring your palette only contains the visible colors from your image.
What is the difference between Average and Exact tones?
Average Tones uses quantization to find the most representative dominant colors. Exact Tones identifies every single unique color present in the image, which is useful for auditing pixel art.
Is there a limit to the number of colors I can extract?
In Average mode, you can extract up to 256 dominant colors. In Exact mode, we display all unique colors found (up to 256 in the UI for performance, though all are counted).
